setting password when opening new account
after going through the steps of opening a new account:
You are faced with a welcome page.
At the bottom of the page there is a go to "my money" (or similar) button. When you click on it there is a logon pop up which prompts you to enter your email address and a password.
The problem: The user has not yet set a password. The user makes an assumption that this popup is the opportunity to set a password OR assumes they should enter the answer to the security question already set. HOWEVER neither input is correct as the popup is not designed for a new user and after three inputs (which are impossible to get right, as the user has not previously set a password) the user is locked out. The user then must choose a "forgot password" or similar (I do not have direct reference to that page anymore as I am long off it) option in order to be prompted to create a new password, thus completing the setup of their "my money".
Many people would abandon the setup at the point of receiving the message about having their account locked, not understanding what they did wrong, and not yet being invested in UBank to persist.
Thank you for prioritising this bug, for your own benefit.
