Pay anyone with Pay ID and OSKO
How can you "close" this idea when UBANK has only implemented NPP, but have not implemented OSKO and PayID?
OSKO and PayID are a vast improvement on NPP. PayID allows the user to pay someone using their mobile phone number, ABN or email address. PayID is great safety check to ensure you have not mistyped a BSB account number when you transfer money..
UBANK says this idea "has been closed" - this has to remain open until PayID is actually implemented.
Please re-open this idea.

We're super excited to be bringing our customers Fast Payments through the New Payments Platform (NPP).
You can now send and receive money in near real time. Fast Payments from UBank’s deposit & savings accounts are available 24/7 365 days a year to eligible accounts with participating Financial Institutions.
You’ll need to use the UBank mobile app to send money to your friends and family in near real time.
Please note, scheduled payments and periodic payments even if created on the UBank mobile app won't be sent as Fast Payments, and the usual 1-2 business day timings will apply. ^Adi
Slow payments system!
Just got this from Ubank regarding fast payments.
I understand and have raised this as feedback for you. Just to confirm there are no current plans on implementing Osko payments. At this stage we're working on Fast Payments and once this has been integrated, we'll then begin work on PayID. You can find out more about this in the link below.
It's almost 3 years since this request was created and that's ridiculous! I have moved to another digital bank and I just download the ubank app to check if PayID/OSKO is available. I would come back if it's available, otherwise, goodbye.
Come on ubank, for real? Really hope your acquisition of 86400 will get you with the times in this regard.
Dont need Osaka or PayID . I also love snail mail & i ride my push scooter ( not electric) to the milkbar for milkshakes on a saturday. I watch reruns of the bert newton show and pretend its live ! I have a computer called Commodore 64 where i do all my spreadsheets and catch up on myspace. Stay the same UBank - stay classey - i hate change - change never did anyone any favours ..... i dont trust change .

It would be great to get an update on this. I have been waiting already over a year since it was set on planned mode...
Really should have Osko payments with an online only bank, expect tech to be implemented much faster
Recently opened this account but am suprised that OSKO is not available. I had assumed all banks had this now. Are we able to get an update on when this is planning to be implemented?
Getting to be a total joke . Give us an update Ubank!
Very disappointed that thisbank is not using Osko

Come on guys...THIS IS AN EXCLUUUUUUSIVE!
UBANK IS THE ONLY BANK
have any form of expedited payment
(although I agree that it is ridiculous if it is a sought after product that u bank after years still does not have, if not, sign up to almost any other bank.
BARE IN MIND THAT IF YOU ARE USING THIS AS A SAVINGS ACCOUNT, THAT THIS IS IDEAL FOR THOSE LIKE MYSELF WHO LACKS HAVE IMPULSE CONTROL ITS GREAT
Totally agree. Comparing to other banks payments and transfers are so sslow and beyond acceptable.
Thought U was trying to compete with other new fintechs/digital banks? I love the U app but wow transfers are so slow its beyond a joke. Ive just opened a Hay account and might be moving my money if they cant fix this ASAP.
Going to move my savings and direct debits to Up. Ive hung onto this account for so long but due to slow transfers and being hit with dishonour fees on rent Im out. Must be the only bank in australia without osko?? Ridiculous!
86400, Macquarie offer savings accounts you can direct debit from, and Pay ID. I joined 86400 and its great, offers 1.2% interest... Closing ubank today,, moved mortgage too,
Get OSKO! It is painful how long transfers take from ubank! :(
4 days now and still nothing
Every other financial institution I uses has Osko... even the NAB has Osko so why the **** doesn't Ubank?
Osky please... Now!
