Home Loans based on rental records. If I can borrow for an expensive boat or car why not a home?
People should be allowed to apply for home loans without a deposit. It makes sense to loan money to someone who can prove a clean and clear rental record for over a set period of time. My hubby and I are struggling to save the deposit because we are paying high rents in Sydney. Why don't banks want our money instead of giving it to landlords? The weirdest part is we can borrow huge amounts for boats or cars that devalue as soon as you drive them of the lot but you won't loan us the same amounts of money for a house? This doesn't make sense to me. We don't want to buy a boat but we would like a little home to call our own. We are looking for a bank that trusts in it's customers and sees value add in collecting our renting dollars. We are here ready and willing to give you the $645.00 a week we currently pay. Someone take our money and let us have a home!
