introduce an accrued interest calculator
Introduce an accrued interest function that calculates and shows the actual daily interest earned, due to be paid at the end of the month, instead of having to wait until interest is actually credited on the account to see the amount due. CBA has a similar function in all its interest bearing accounts and it's very handy...

Allow customers to hold a second mobile number for SMS
Allow customers to hold a second mobile number, for example, in my case a TravelSIM number, so that when I am overseas I am still able to do my banking.
The secure code would be sent by UBank to both mobile numbers.
You can't expect customers to have international roaming on their main mobile number.
Also, hire some decent systems analysts and programmers who have enough nous to think of these sorts of things in you website design and functionality.36 votes -
Save mobile number and email address for payees
The new SMS or email notification to payees is great, except you have to enter their mobile number or email every single time you transfer to them. This information should be automatically saved so the field is pre-populated next time money is sent.

Please offer 2 description fields on transfers
I need a meaningful reference/description on my accounts transaction history. Unfortunately the one field available "Description" isn't always suitable as the receiving end requests a particular reference.
For example, to pay rent they ask for a reference code 12345 - so I give that in the description field. However, it would be more meaningful on my statement to show the text "Rent".
Something like having:
- Your description - appear on my transaction history ("Rent")
- Payee description - appears on payees transaction history ("12345")
Currently, 2 fields are offered:
- Description
- Your name

Enable email alerts that are sent everytime a transaction occurs
My idea is that everytime a transaction occurs, an email is sent showing the where the money was spent, how much, available balance, etc.
******'s Velocity Globalwallet has this feature (see attached) and i have found it extremely useful.

mortgage on overview
It would be nice if the mortgage was listed with all other accounts rather than having to log into it separately. The transfers from mortgage to ultras should be instant not take up to 3 days.

To make loan updates however, you will still need to do an additional login to the UHomeLoan portal. We’re definitely actively working on making this as simple as possible, watch this space!^EH

Add adaptive icon for Android Oreo
Hi,
I am assuming this would be an easy update to implement. Having support for adaptive icons ensures that the Ubank app icon fits in neatly with modern day home screens like the Pixel Launcher.
Note the round icons and your non adaptive icon in the attached image.

Why can’t we have real time fund transfer? Why do we need to wait for hours if not days just to see our fund processed?

Remove SMS authorisation for internal transfers
Why do we need to receive an SMS code and enter it whem transferring funds between our own internal accounts (eg transaction acc to savings acc)?

Allow UBANK accounts to be fully linked both ways to NAB accounts
UBANK is owned by NAB but there is no way to freely transfer sums of money that are higher than the daily limit. This is annoying when I need to transfer money into or out of my SMSF accounts and my personal accounts or from my NAB Savings account to my personal UBANK account. When I try to transfer anything over my daily limit from my NAB account to UBANK I have to do it over several days in small amounts to stay within the daily transfer limits. Very frustrating.

I would like to suggest that Ubank change their card activation process
My wife received a new Visa Debit in the mail, if you check, the last one was never even used so thanks for that.
As bad an idea as Paywave is, even stupider is that to activate a new card sent in the mail is a simple as making a transaction. Seriously? Someone thought this was a good idea.
What happened to calling up, typing in your birthdate or something to activate your new card. This is a serious breach of my security. Do you leave the vault door open? I think not...well, mine is.

Have a 'balance' column
Suggest having a 'balance' column showing the balance after each transaction in the accounts.

Usaver Sub-accounts
As Ubank only allows one Usaver and one Ultra account to be linked and receive bonus interest. It would be good to have 'sub-accounts' or sub-balances or baskets or some other categorising term.
Basically, within the one Usaver account allow users to divide their money towards different goals, for example home deposit, car, holiday, insurances. As far as Ubank is concerned the total balance of these sub-accounts would be the main one, all sub-accounts could have the same bsb and account number as the main account.
Unfortunately the 'my money saving goal' only allows one goal per account which is…

Make statements and Secure message available via log in on iPads
I hardly ever use desktops or laptops so it is very difficult to get online access to my statements or secure message and it is very frustrating.

online banking site constantly "temporary unavailable"
Fix your online banking, constantly either under 'secure maintenance' or 'temporarily unavailable'.
Logins in fine but after a few clicks anyway the site logs out with attached page where you have to log in again. constant across 3 different computers at different locations

Desktop problems
The phone app works well, but the desktop internet banking is currently a disaster. The overview page loads but then disappears, and other pages are not responsive. Impossible to transact other than through phone app. Worked in the past but not now. Help!
